We Give Because God Gave First

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son…” John 3:16

Online giving is safe and secure. By contributing to what San Pedro Catholic Church is doing in our community, we are using what God has given us to share the good news of Jesus to others. We give not because we have to, but because God first gave to us, and we do so with a joyful heart and generous spirit. Doing so ends up benefiting us far more than it costs us.

Special Giving Opportunities

Saint Teresa Casita

Serving those in greatest need, they provide basic food products to over 80 families every two weeks, with special attention given to the elderly and those that are sick. It costs about $30 dollars to feed one family, which includes a chicken, 2 pounds of rice, beans, sugar, flour and 1 small cooking oil.

Covid Works of Mercy

During the COVID outbreak in San Pedro there was significant job losses and economic challenges. These challenges continue for many families and individuals. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Catholic Church has been able to offer rice and bean and other essential products for 100 to 300 persons every Saturday morning.

Little Nazareth

A generous family donated about 6 Acres of land in San Pedro, which will house a recovery center, a workshop and a chapel. In addition, we dream of building a center for ministry including a new Church, youth center, volunteer housing, parish hall, etc. View the Site Plan.

St. Francis Recovery Center

We need sponsors to help us cover their minimal expenses of feeding the men @ $50 US Dollars per week. We are also awaiting more donors to help us complete the future buildings which are estimated at around $8,000 US Dollars each.

St. Joseph’s Workshop

Work is a blessing of God when done with a spirit of prayer and contemplation. At the Saint Joseph workshop the best craftmanship will be offered to the community through the services provided and by offering basic skills to young persons who desire to learn. We welcome donations for wood, equipment and tools for the workshop.

St. Joseph’s Chapel

Without God, we can do nothing. Little Nazareth will a holy place for families and youth. To aid a life of prayer and love, sacred places help us to raise our heart and mind to God. The rustic rock chapel will take longer and more local effort but will be a fruit of sacrifice and love. Kindly consider donating a gift of $500 towards the completion of the Chapel

Saint John Paul II Evangelization Center

We are all in need for a living encounter with Christ. Near the San Pablo Chapel, we will be building a place for evangelization and retreats where all people can come and encounter the joy of the Gospel, a deepened prayer life and the love of friendship in Christ. If you know the power of encountering Jesus in your life, consider making a contribution to help others have that some encounter in one of the meetings or retreats that will take place in this new building.

The Youth and Young Adults

We are starting 3 new youth ministries (EDGE, LIFE-TEEN and a Young Adult Prayer Group), plus a new Youth Mass. We require projectors, screens, instruments, a new sound system, live stream cameras, a computer, lights, wireless mics, plus funds for food and retreats, etc.

Sacred Vessels and Liturgical Vestments

Our Sacred Vessels are old and rusty. We require a new Monstrance for Adoration, and also Ciboria for reserving the Eucharist in the Tabernacle. Our Liturgical Vestments are old, and we require new beautiful vestments that are made for hot and humid weather.
